Overview
The UNH InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL) is hosting the second 10BASE-T1S Plugfest from January 13 through January 17, 2025 in Durham, NH. We are actively looking for companies to sponsor this event to help drive participation and reduce fees. If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please email Michelle Whisnant today.
With input from our members, our scope currently includes*:
- Interoperability BER testing over UTP T1S channels
- BER testing with PLCA under high-traffic load
- Topology Discovery
- Advanced Diagnostics (SQI, PLCA Beacon Diagnostics)
- gPTP on 10BASE-T1S (Pt-to-Pt, and multidrop using unicast or Topo Discovery delay, or other approaches in review in IEEE 802.1ASds)
- Sleep/Wake testing per Open Alliance TC10/TC14
- Samples of PMA Compliance testing and PCS, PLCA, Half-Duplex MAC testing
- Remote Control investigations to help progress efforts in TC18
- MACSec investigations to help progress efforts in TC17
*Full support for features above is not required
Some testing may be restricted to members of relevant organizations (eg: Open Alliance TC10). ECUs, evaluation boards, and prototypes are welcome. T&M Partners are welcome to contact us to discuss further.

Registration
Current UNH-IOL 10BASE-T1S Testing Service members may attend this Plugfest at no additional cost for two attendees.
A completed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be submitted prior to the event. This is the only way to access the Plugfest facility. Registration inquiries should be sent to Michelle Whisnant.
