- Abstract
- The NIST IPv6 Profile (500-267Ar1) defines an IPv6-Only product as capable of operating “in environments with no IPv4 capabilities (e.g., either IPv4 is not implemented or is administratively disabled, or IPv4 is not provided on the network). ”
This Test Specification exercises a product to help confirm support for the following functions: Installation, Upgrade/Update, Configuration, Management, Instrumentation.

- Abstract
- The following tests verify the general functionality of a product in an IPv6-only cloud network.
The NIST IPv6 Profile (500-267Ar1) defines an IPv6-Only product as capable of operating “in environments with no IPv4 capabilities (e.g., either IPv4 is not implemented or is administratively disabled or IPv4 is not provided on the network).”
This Test Specification exercises a product to ensure support for the following functions: Installation, Upgrade/Update, Configuration, Management, and Instrumentation.
- Notes
- This test plan is still under development by NIST and the UNH-IOL. It is not currently applicable to any capability under Revision 1 of the USGv6 Profile.
