Automotive Networking Testing Services

We provide test services for the Automotive Ethernet network protocols drawing on decades of our Ethernet networking experience. Our services provide a higher level of confidence in component interoperability for our customers, and our customer’s customers.

Accelerate Development of Test Capability

Capabilities and test cases developed in this effort are available to certifying bodies, such as the Avnu Alliance, the Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) certification body. Capabilities and tests developed in this group do not guarantee certification by any other body.

Validate Capabilities Beyond Certification

Members may develop and receive services to validate product capabilities that go beyond any certification body’s requirements.  At a later time, such capabilities may be adopted by a certification body at the certifying body’s discretion.

Multiple Test Options

  • Continuous automated testing of products, providing new firmware, or rapidly benefiting from incremental test environment improvements.
  • Schedule testing for products to have automated and manual tests performed and formally reported for a given device and firmware.
  • Perform in-house testing by accessing new test tool capabilities as a beta participant.

In addition to supporting the current efforts to assist in Avnu Certification testing, the UNH-IOL has extensive knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of IEEE 1588-2008 Precision Time Protocol (PTP), as well as Automotive Ethernet Physical Layer testing, based on IEEE 802.3 standards. If you have further test needs, we can help.

Discounts are available for companies interested in bundled services from these groups.
