100BASE-T1 Single Pair Ethernet Testing Service

The adoption of Ethernet standards in automobiles will allow car manufacturers to reduce costs and increase bandwidth through cost-effective components and fewer cabling. We offer a wide range of extensively detailed test suites designed for your Automotive Ethernet Devices including Automotive Development Platforms, Bridges, HeadNode, Sensors and Infotainment Systems. Standards in IEEE 802.3.bw have brought forward a framework for a Single Pair Ethernet technology with data rates of 100Mbps over single twisted pair copper cabling.  

We are also an OPEN Alliance approved test laboratory, and the UNH-IOL is a registered participant within the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX^®), meeting the security requirements for data management in the European automotive industry.

Members can request Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, and Tektronix Test and Measurement equipment when scheduling conformance testing (a list of Partner Test Tools and Equipment can be found here.

Development Services Include:

• Development of 100BASE-T1 Interoperability testing and test bed

All of our memberships include debugging and re-testing as well as testing for more than one device. Memberships in new areas include development support for new services with member input and direction. Memberships are billed as a one-time fee that includes 12 months of testing.
