These test fixtures are used for testing Ethernet APL.
For full test coverage, we recommend an appropriate Simulator Board (Spur/Trunk or Automated), an APL Data Test Board, and an APL Line-Tap Board.

---|---|---|
APL Data Test Board |
Printed Circuit Board featuring a terminal block connection that provides a simple layout used for tests such as: Test APL.146.2.1, Test APL.146.3.1, and Test APL.146.4.1 defined in the APL Data CTS. There are separate injection points for both the Gaussian Noise Source and Ripple Source as well as locations to connect to the Worst-Case Communication Cable or Cable Plant. |
|
APL Line-tap Board |
Printed Circuit Board featuring a terminal block connection, directional couplers and SMA Connections for real-time capturing of link signaling on test and measurement equipment. This Line-tap Board is useful for Group 3 and 4 of Section 146 as well as all of Section 98 as defined in the APL Data CTS.. |
|
APL Multi Class Load Board | Printed Circuit Board featuring terminal block connection that provides an active Spur Load for power classes A, C. This board is used in multiples to load additional ports of a Spur Power field switch with more than one port for System.1.1 tests in the Annex of the APL Power Conformance Test Specification. | |
APL Spur Simulator Board | Printed Circuit Board featuring terminal block connection that provides power and data coupling/decoupling network and interface for test and measurement equipment. This board simulates both Spur Power and Spur Load ports to perform all SP and SL tests in the APL Power Conformance Test Specification. | |
APL Trunk Simulator Board |
Printed Circuit Board featuring terminal block connection that provides power and data coupling/decoupling network and interface for test and measurement equipment. This board simulates both Trunk Power and Trunk Load ports to perform all TP and TL tests in the APL Power Conformance Test Specification. |
