The Reference Open Source Testbed, developed by the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory as part of LF Networking's 5G Super Blueprints initiative, aims to simplify the integration of diverse open source components for 5G and Open RAN systems.

It provides pre-tested deployments, streamlined tools like Ansible playbooks, and comprehensive documentation to facilitate faster and more reliable deployment and validation. Key features include modular, blueprint-based deployment, an integrated testing and results dashboard, and a focus on community engagement and transparency.

Discover future enhancements for automated testing and expanded testing coverage in a recent blog from Linux Foundation (LFN) 5G Super Blueprints Use Case Spotlight: Reference Open Source Testbed.

The UNH-IOL has been working with the LFN since 2016. We support the open source community by hosting hardware resources for LF Edge developers. The hardware resources are tailored to the needs of the LF Edge community and range from smaller scale, hardened edge devices to larger servers that would be used at the edge of a service provider’s network.
