The UNH-IOL and the NVM Express organization have collaborated for over a decade to promote NVM Express specifications, focusing on compliance and interoperability testing of NVMe devices. During the IOL hosted 22nd NVMe Plugfest last November, we brought together NVMe SSD manufacturers to test their products against the most recent NVMe specifications. The goal was to ensure that these products meet the rigorous standards required for interoperability and performance in a multi-vendor environment.
Products that pass testing are added to the NVMe Integrators List. The Integrator’s List serves as a registry of products that have successfully passed the conformance and interoperability requirements. Inclusion on the Integrator’s List not only indicates that the product meets industry standards but also assures consumers and businesses that the SSD will perform reliably in multi-vendor environments.
Plugfests are crucial for advancing NVMe technology by providing a platform for manufacturers to ensure their products are market-ready, ultimately benefiting both consumers and enterprises by enhancing the quality of storage solutions.
