Nathan Miner is currently the Operations Manager in the Broadband Technologies Group at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). He joined the IOL Broadband team in 2015 as a nontraditional student attending UNH for Computer Science. During this time, he developed the Broadband testing automation software Test Sentinel, a software tool used in automated testing for DSL, Gfast, and Wireless.

Nathan initially worked part-time at the IOL for 7 years before becoming a manager. Prior to his time at the IOL, he spent over 12 years teaching at an early learning center and owned and managed his own paintball field business for 15 years. In 2022, Nathan took on the role of Operations Manager for DSL, and in 2023, he also became the manager for Wireless testing.

As an Operations Manager, Nathan has assisted with several Broadband Forum Plugfests for G.hn and USP and is currently supporting ongoing efforts within TR-398 testing . He continues to oversee student developers working on Test Sentinel and works directly with customers to develop testing that meets their needs.
