Mark Your Calendar: October 30th - November 3rd, 2017
The OpenFabrics Alliance presents the next OFA Interoperability Validation at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) in Durham, New Hampshire.
Building cooperation within the InfiniBand®, iWARP, and RoCE communities, the OpenFabrics Alliance brings you this interoperability session, focusing on industry-wide interoperability using the OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution software stack. This is the 22nd OFA group test event since these biannual sessions started in 2006.
An Exceptional Environment
-
Testing Cluster - The testing cluster at the UNH-IOL has 39 servers that are running Scientific Linux 7.3. Other operating systems can be installed by request.
Note: Each technology will have a subset of the available systems. Each vendor is allocated an equal share of the systems. If your system requires a specific PCIe generation beyond what is available, typically gen2, you are asked to provide your desired system.
- OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED) - Version 4.8-1
-
Test Plan - OFA-IWG Interoperability Test Plan Release - 2.05v2 (or newer)
Event Information and Registration Process
This Interoperability Validation comprises two parts:
- Interop Debug Event - Registered vendors attend this event on the dates mentioned above and work together to resolve interoperability issues. The version of OFED used can be a "release candidate".
- Interop GA Event - Vendors do not attend this event, which occurs several weeks after the Debug Event. The UNH-IOL alone performs official Logo testing using the "General Availability" (GA) version of OFED.
Eligibility
This Interop event is open only to current OFA members. To become a member contact OFA Administration (membership@openfabrics.org) or visit the OFA Website.
Cost
There are two options for participation in this event.
- Membership in the OpenFabrics Interoperability Logo Group (OFILG) - This group affords the benefits of:
- Participation in the OpenFabrics Interoperability Logo Program

- Full access to the OFA testing services at the UNH-IOL
- OFA members who do not wish to become OFILG members may pay a one-time fee of $7,000 for participation in this event plus a per device fee. This option does not include the other benefits listed above. This fee can be applied within 60 days retroactively to OFILG membership.
